About Us

El Puerto was founded in 2024 with a deep-rooted passion for authentic Veracruzano cuisine. This project is a tribute to my mother and grandmother, two incredible women whose love and wisdom shaped my life and my cooking. Though they are no longer with us, their legacy continues to live on through every dish we serve.

My name is Ariadne (Ari), and I was born and raised in the beautiful port city of Veracruz. Grateful for the teachings I received in my grandmother’s and mother’s kitchens, I now share these treasured recipes with you. Every meal we prepare carries the love, care, and rich history that has been passed down through generations.
